Dorotha was a life member of the Gay Street United Methodist Church, also attended the Hopewell United Methodist Church. She was a member of Knox Chapter #236 Order of Eastern Star in Mount Vernon and the Pleasant Grange.
Surviving are her daughters Anne (Garry) Inabnitt of Brice and Carol (Al) Gore of Pickerington; her son David (Lynette) Auker of Mount Vernon; grandchildren Jeff (Tera) Gore, Johnny (Heather) Auker, Danny Auker, Beth (Erick) Joseph, and Heather (Keith) Rogers; great grandchildren David Joseph, Samuel Joseph, Kaitlyn Rogers, John Auker, Renee Auker, Kennedy Auker, Tyler Gore and Emma Gore. Besides her parents, Dorotha was preceded in death by her husband John Auker, a granddaughter Jacklyn Auker and her brother Charles Smith.
