Milwaukee Journal Sentinel on September 9, 2012. Adsen, Gerald "Jerry" "Swede" Age 74, of Black River Falls, WI and formerly of Bay View, WI died unexpectedly in his home Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012. He was born in Milwaukee on Jan. 14, 1938 to Norris and Hazel (Nagorsne) Adsen. He was raised in Milwaukee and graduated from Bay View High School in 1956. Uncle Sam requested his service in the Army and he acquiesced from Sept. of 1961 until Sept. of 1963. Jerry married Joanne Jeffrey on Oct. 29, 1960 at St. Frederick's Catholic Church in Cudahy, WI. The couple resided in the Bay View area until moving to the Town of Manchester in Jackson County in 2000. Jerry enjoyed working for the CNW Railroad prior to being employed as a heavy equipment operator at Mitchell Field retiring in 1995. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, home painting and Wisconsin sports teams. He loved his many rescued pets, especially "Kitty-Kitty". Jerry was a volunteer driver for the Disabled American Vets in Tomah.

Surviving are his wife Joanne and children Annemarie Adsen, Eric Adsen and his sister Noreen Ogden. He will be especially missed by his close friends and fishing buddies, Mike (Monk) Stachowiak and Ron Neisner along with many other friends and family. We will all miss his vote in the upcoming election! He was

preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Dail Ogden. A Memorial Service will be announced. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials be given to either the Disabled American Veterans or the Jackson County Animal Shelter. Buswell Funeral Home (715-284-2231) of Black River Falls is assisting the family with arrangements.
