Cheryl Ann McClellan, daughter of Raymond and Leona Hunt Thomas, was born September 25, 1946, in Clinton Missouri and departed this life September 24, 2011. at the age of sixty-four years.

Cheryl made a profession of faith in Christ at a young age and at the time of her passing was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. Cheryl was a devout Christian and lived her life accordingly. Although she had battled her physical disability for many years, the unwavering strength and faith she carried in her spirituality gave her the courage to face each day with a great outlook. She was grateful for every moment.

On December 22, 1963, she was united in marriage with the love of her life Harold McClellan. To this union was born three children. Harold and Cheryl could always see the sunshine through the clouds. They leaned on each other during difficult times. The love and companionship they shared was evident to everyone they came in contact with through the years. At the time of her passing, they shared forty-seven years together.

Cheryl graduated from Lebanon High School in 1964. She and Harold moved to St. Charles, where they started a family and lived for thirty years, before returning to Lebanon, where they remained for the duration of her life. The friendships she shared through the years were precious to her.

She was a devoted wife and doting mother. She made sure to provide a warm and welcoming enviroment for her family and friends. Spending time with them was most precious to her.

Cheryl had been a member of Eastern Star for nearly fifty years. She served as Secretay and Past Matron. For the past fifteen years, she served with the Lebanon Chapter #259 OES. The relationships she shared with the other ladies were unmatched. She treasured each of them.

When she wasn't tending to her household chores or the duties of Eastern Star, Cheryl loved to read and listen to classical music.

Cheryl is survived by her husband Harold of the home; two daughters, Kelly Jo Schuetz and her husband Alan of Wentzville, MO and Johnna Michelle McClellan of O'Fallon, MO; one grandson, Gregory McClellan; one half sister, Patricia Belew and her husband Randy of Kansas City, MO; a special cousin, Donna Brewer and her husband Mike of Windsor, MO; other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one son, Shawn Michael McClellan.

Services were held at ll:00 A.M., Wenesday, September 28,2011 at Shadel's Colonial Chapel with Rev. Scott Chastain officiating. Music was provided by Gary Pace, Soloist. Escorts were Jim Morgan, Sam Mustard, David Pyatt, David O'Dell, Richard Wrinkle, Rick Johnston and Darrell Ivey.
