Margaret has lived in the Brighton area since 2005. She worked for Shell Oil at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal for 15 years. She was a member of Our Lady of the Mother Church in Commerce City. Margaret loved watching her children and her grandchildren play sports. Her family was foremost in her life. She loved to cook for family and friends. She also loved quilting, sewing and playing Bingo. Margaret was known for her homemade tortillas.
Margaret is survived by her children, Mark (Doreen) Archuleta of Thornton, Robert (Jane) Archuleta of Brighton, Michelle (Daniel) Zamora of Thornton; siblings, Arthur Medina of Del Norte, Marie Long of Denver and Desi Medina of Del Norte; seven grandchildren, Christina Zamora, Brittany Zamora, Bree Archuleta, Taylor Archuleta, Dante Archuleta, Ty Archuleta and Nolan Archuleta.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents, husband, Joseph, in 2005 and one grandson, Tanner, in 1999.
Rosary Service will be held on Monday, October 31, 2011 at 5:00 p.m., followed by the Memorial Mass at 5:30 p.m., both at Our Lady Mother of the Church in Commerce City.
