Raymond L. Corley, 87, of West Wilmerding, North Versailles, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2009. During World War II, Ray served in the Army as a medic. For more than 40 years, he was the owner of Corley Cleaners in Carrick. Ray served on the North Versailles 125th Anniversary Committee and was well known for his ability to turn scrap material into craftwork. He was the beloved husband of the late Lillian B. (Fletcher) Corley; brother of the late LeRoy Corley; dear friend of Tom "Butch" Koenig and his wife, Terry; also survived by nieces and nephews. Friends welcome from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at PATRICK T. LANIGAN FUNERAL HOME, TURTLE CREEK/MONROEVILLE CHAPEL, 1111 Monroeville Ave., Turtle Creek, 412-823-9350, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday. Burial with military honors will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
