Charlotte Jane Bleininger, 62, of 8787 County Road 5, Rushsylvania, died at 11:50 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, 1997, at her residence.
She was born in Dayton on Dec. 16, 1934, a daughter of William R. and Nettie Snell Wolfe. Both parents are deceased.
On Aug. 6, 1955, she married Carl Bleininger Jr. in Dayton, and he survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Dale (Cindy) Bleininger of Bellefontaine, Bruce (Bonita) Bleininger of Huntsville and Doug (Stacey) Bleininger of Belle Center; two daughters, Mrs. Gary (Sara) Hale of Yellow Springs and Mrs. Martin (Patt) Howard of South Vienna; a sister, Clara Mae Crawford of Fairborn; and 10 grandchildren.
Mrs. Bleininger worked in the administrative offices of the Benjamin Logan School District for more than 25 years. She retired in 1996.
She was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Bellefontaine, Rhoda Circle of King's Daughters and Sons, and was a 4-H adviser for the Kookie Kooks.
Services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday at the First Lutheran Church, with Pastor David Moreland officiating. Burial will be in the Rushsylvania Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Eichholtz Funeral Home. Bellefontaine. Memorial contributions may be made to Tricare Hospice or Rhoda Circle.
