Richard Lee Boner, 70, of Ocoee, Fla., died at 5:40 p.m. Monday, Nov. 22, 2004, at the Ocoee Health Center in Florida. Born June 23, 1934, in Battle Creek, Mich., he was a son of the late Raymond Clifford and Jessie Mae Houghtaling Boner Reed.
Survivors include his wife, Myrtle Conrad Maddox Boner of Ocoee; one son, Richard Boner II of Gastonia, N.C.; two daughters, Kathy (William) Frazier and Becky (Frank) Payseur, both of Bellefontaine; two stepsons, David and Paul Maddox of Ocoee; one stepdaughter, Iris Noah of Gadston, Ala.; one brother, Clifford Boner of Alaska; two sisters, Ann Thurman of Springfield and Peggy Hall of Battle Creek; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, John Boner.
He retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years. He was a member of Stark Lake Baptist Church.
The Rev. A.W. Purdin conducts the funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Eichholtz Funeral Home, Bellefontaine, where calling is from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday. Burial with military rites perform by the Logan County Honor Guard is in the Rushsylvania Cemetery.
