Services for Mrs. Allie Mae Churchwell, 86, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Rushing Creek Primitive Baptist Church with the Rev A. T. Pruitt officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Brewer Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Churchwell died Wednesday at Decatur County General Hospital after a long illness.
Survivors include two sons, Elbert Churchwell of Lexington and Charlie Churchwell of New Orleans; a daughter, Mrs. Irene Burtchett of New Orleans; a brother, Elmer Brigance of Mobile, Miss.; eight sisters, Mrs. Nora Wyatt of Parsons, Mrs. Fronie Wright of Birmingham, Ala., Mrs. Jennie Slater of Oklahoma City, Mrs. Ethel Critt from Shawnee, Okla., Mrs. Mattie Long of Bruceton, Mrs. Please Enzor of Atwood, Mrs. Leona Denmon of Memphis and Mrs. Annie Ola Britt of Mississippi; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
