BAKER, EUGENE, 52, of Elys, KY., died at his home at Elys, Monday, February 6, at 6:30 a.m. after a short illness. He is survived by five uncles: Henry Baker, Flat Lick, Ben Baker, Harlan, Jim Baker, Cincinnati, OH., Tom and Dan Baker both of Newort, KY; three aunts, Mrs. Ellen Howard, Flat Lick, Mrs. Clara Gray, Barbourville, and Mrs. Axie Chilgren, Middlesboro. Rev. Eleazer Benenhaley officiated at the funeral services held Wednesday, February 8, at 2 p.m at the Concord Baptist Church, Flat Lick, KY. Pallbearers were family friends and burial was in the Hammons Cemetery, Flat Lick, with Arnett Funeral Home in charge.
