She met and married Thomas Sanderson in Hendrum, MN. Thomas worked for the Great Northern Railroad. They later moved to Kelly Lake,MN. Together they had 7 children. Thomas Milton (known as Milton or "Sox") Donald W., Fred E., Hazel, Eva, Faye, and Iris.
After Thomas' passing, she lived with her daughter Hazel in Superior WI.
