1st Lieutenant Melvin Louis Stone, Jr. was born on May 31, 1940. He served in the United States Air Force in the HQ, 7th Air Force. He began his tour in 1966 and was killed on October 6, 1966. His death was ruled an accidental homicide.

1st LT Stone is found on Panel 11E Row 51 of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington DC.
