Graveside funeral service for George Billy Bell, 81, will be held eleven am Monday, April 27, 2009 at the Windsor First Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from four pm until six pm Sunday, April 26th at Folk Funeral Home, Williston, SC. Mr. Bell died Friday, April 24, 2009.
Born in Windsor, SC he was a son of the late Albert and Nora Byars Bell. Billy was a US Air Force Veteran, a member of the SC Council of Conservative Citizens, an English teacher, retired from the Atlanta Journal Constitution and was married to the late Frances Brock Bell.
Survivors include, daughters, Carol Sue Ingram of Windsor and Helen Watson of Belton; son, Charles Bell of Windsor; sister, Doris Robinson; eight grandchildren, Beth, Laura, Melissa, Chris, Jonathan, Victoria, Michelle and James; nine great-grandchildren, Diamond, Bleu, Caitlin, Madison, Christian, Aaron, Nora, Kendall and Clinton.
