Kenneth Sabins Ainsworth, age 66 of Haines City, Florida passed away Wednesday (12/29/10) in an auto accident.
Mr. Ainsworth was born January 26, 1944 in Fall River, Ma. and moved to Haines City, Fl in 1979 from San Antonio, Tex. He retired as a Tech. Sergeant in the United States Air Force, last based at Mac Dill AFB, Tampa. Fl. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, Past Commander of Chapter 45, Winter Haven, Past Commander and member of the American Legion, Haines City, Fl; Past vice commander and member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Retired Enlisted Association at large. He was a 32 degree Scottish Rite Mason. He also was a Scout Master of Troop 516, Haines City, and a member of Today's Gentlemen of Haines City and the Dundee Lions Club, Dundee, Fl. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Letitia (Sabins) Ainsworth; sister Shirley (Ainsworth) McCarthy.
Survivors: Wife Jane E. Ainsworth, Haines City, son, Kenneth S. Ainsworth, Jr. of Johns Island, SC. daughter, Karyn Lee (Ainsworth) Zador of Auburndale, Fl. Brother Walter Ainsworth of Tiverton, R.I.; grandson, Nicholas Bradly Johnston of Auburndale, Grand daughter, Tonya Marie Johnston, of Auburndale, Fl.
