Ruth Bartolovich, 84, of Waynesburg R. D. 4, died at 6:45 a.m. Thursday, July 20, 1995, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W. Va., after an illness of one year.
She was born January 15, 1911, in Center Township, a daughter of Franklin James and Catherine Throckmorton Breese.
Mrs. Bartolovich was a resident of Center Township her entire life.
She was a member of Throckmorton United Methodist Church and Pursley Baptist Women's Group.
She was employed as a licensed practical nurse at Greene County Memorial Hospital for 10 years prior to her retirement in 1973.
On September 30, 1930, she married Johyn Bartolovich, who survives.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two daughters, Wilma Stevens of Waynesburg R. D. 4 and Mrs. Ray (Helen) King of Waynesburg R. D. 5; three sons, Edward Bartolovich of Warren, Ohio, Lewis Bartolovich of Plainfield, Ind., and Wayne Bartolovich of Waynesburg R. D. 4; one sister, Ivy Crouse of Waynesburg; one brother, James Franklin Breese of Waynesburg; 19 grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased are her triplet sisters, Ruby Breese, who died at birth, and Pearle Conkey; five other sisters, Anna Tharp, Lucy Breese, Lizzie Crouse, Mary Johnston and Fannie Conklin; and one brother, Wesley Breese, who died in infancy..
BARTOLOVICH - Friends of Ruth Bartolovich of Waynesburg R. D. 4, who died Thursday, July 20, 1995, will be received from 3 to 9 p.m. Saturday in Rush Funeral Home Inc., Rogersville, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 23, with the Rev. William Parker officiating. Interment in Rosemont Cemetery, Center Township.
