Andrew Jacob Allard
HOOKSETT – After being with us for 13 years, Andrew Jacob Allard died after a sudden illness on March 4, 2007.
He was born May 18, 1993, in Manchester to Raymond R. "Chip" Allard and Linda C. (Curtis) Allard of Hooksett and Boca Raton, Fla.
Andrew was known as "Uncle Buddy" to his five nieces and nephews, Amelia, Meredith, Samuel, Madeline and Noah Lee, all of Memphis, Tenn.
He was a joy to all he came in contact with and was known for his huge smile. He lived his life to the fullest and enjoyed every moment of it. He was a home schooled student in the ninth-grade and excelled in all subjects, especially math.
Andrew loved baseball, especially the Red Sox, and had finished playing his last year of baseball with the Hooksett Little League Association. Nicknamed "MicroChip" on the links, he also enjoyed golfing with his dad at Adios Country Club in Florida and was a member of Plausawa Valley Country Club in Pembroke and the Southwinds Country Club in Boca Raton.
He was an active member of Grace Capital Church and participant in his local youth group called Impact and he truly made an impact on all he came in contact with. He was a member of a local band called "A.K.L.," which won first place in the Hooksett Old Home Day Talent Contest in 2006. He had a true love for playing guitar with his band and with his youth worship team.
Andrew was happiest when surrounded by his many friends and just having fun. He loved to tell others about his relationship with Jesus Christ wherever he went (his favorite Bible verse was John 3:16) and had a big heart for everyone he met. Generous in every way, even in his final hours, he was able to give a lifetime by donating his heart.
He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Raymond M. Allard; and an uncle, Robert E. Elliott, both formerly of Manchester; and his maternal grandfather, William Donald Curtis, formerly of Sun City Center, Fla.
In addition to his parents, family members include siblings, Jeffrey and Melissa (Allard) Lee of Memphis; Jason R. and Beth (Porco) Allard of Manchester; Matthew L. Allard of Manchester; and Abigail H. Allard of Hooksett and Boca Raton; paternal grandmother, Rita (deRepentigny) Allard of Manchester; aunts, Muriel B. Allard and Constance Allard Elliott, both of Manchester; maternal great-grandmother, Opal (Perry) Whirley; grandparents, W.C. and June (Whirley) Eaker, all of Corinth, Miss.; aunts and uncles, Michael and Gayle (Curtis) Moore of Corinth, William and Mary Curtis of Hooksett, and Stephen and Caroline Curtis of Oundle, England.
Memorial donations may be made to the Grace Capital Youth Center Building Fund, c/o Grace Capital Church.
Petit Funeral Home in Pembroke handled the arrangements.
