W. C. Foree was born May 17, 1852, in the state of Tennessee, and in June the 8th was married to Miss Texana Simms. To this union there were born three boys and seven girls, four of whom together with their mother have preceeded him in death. He died at the home of his daughter Mrs. H. H. Fry, near Colleysville. January 13, 1929 at 3:30 p. m. After services conducted by Rev. L Pat Leach, his body was buried in the Clements Cemetery, January 14th 1929 at 3 p.m."
