At the home of the officiating clergyman, 239 East Genesee Street, on Saturday evening, Mrs. Bertha S. Emmett of Moravia and J. Arthur Anthony of Hoffman Street, Auburn,
were united in marriage by Rev. Plato T. Jones.
The couple were attended by Mr. and Mrs Elmer W. Savacool of Moravia, brother and sister-in-law of the bride. Mr. and Mrs. Anthony propose to live in this city and will make their home at 23 Hoffman Street.

James Arthur Anthony died at his home, 23 Hoffman Street, Saturday evening. Born in Venice, Mr. Anthony had resided in Auburn 11 years. He was employed at the Firth Carpet Company.
Mr. Anthony is survived by his wife, Bertha Savacool Anthony; a brother, Bert Anthony of Moravia; a nephew, Harold Hoagland of Auburn and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock, Tuesday afternoon, at the Langham Funeral Home, 91 East Genesee 8treet Rev. Robert C. Root, pastor of Trinity Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Indian Mound Cemetery, Moravia.
