Eileen Hoel, age 90, of Appleton, died on Thursday, March 8, 2007, at Care Partners in Little Chute.
Eileen was born on January 15, 1917, in Green Bay to the late William and Helen (McCarthy) Sullivan. She married LeRoy W. Hoel in 1944; he preceded her in death.
Eileen was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Elks Club, enjoyed bowling, golf, the outdoors and fishing - especially with her sons.
Eileen is survived by her sons, Patrick Reed, Oshkosh; Daniel W. Hoel, Neenah; and Thomas C. Hoel, Appleton; eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and her sister, Dorothy Nick, Green Bay. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Ellen Timmers.
Funeral services will be at 1 1 a.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2007, at the WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, Appleton, with Deacon Gerry Schraufnagel officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Appleton.
