In the 1860 census she is listed as 25 years old living with her father, Joseph Beets, Sr., in Marysville Twp., Lykins (now Miami) County, Kansas. In the 1865 census she is living in the Jasper Ingle household with father Joseph Beeets, Sr. Mary is listed as 30 years old and cannot read or write. She is listed in her brother, Thomas Beets,' probate records in 1862 and she sold the land she got from this probate to Joseph Beets in 1865. This is the last we see of her. Presume she died in Miami County, Kansas after 1865. She may be buried in Old Marysville Cemetery, Miami Co., Kansas, however no marker has been found.
