ROGERSVILLE - Lowell Benton Addington, age 54, Rogersville died Monday, June 26, 2006 at home as the result of a heart attack.
He was a born again Christian and attended Unicoi Chapel Church faithfully.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Will and Opal Addington and Will and Novella Farmer.
He is survived by the love of his life for more than nine years, Venetta Addington; son, Barry Addington and his mother, Barbara Penley, Duffield; parents, Lowell and Frankie Addington, Nicklesville, VA; sister, Linda Louise Addington, Nicklesville, VA; two nieces; four nephews and their husbands, wives; host of great-nephews and great-nieces and several aunts and uncles; father and mother-in-law, Greg and Barbara Harr, Rogersville and brother-in-law and his wife, Tony and Melissa Harr, Surgoinsville.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at Christian-Sells Funeral Home chapel with Revs. Fred Tankersley and Kieth Manis officiating. Graveside services were Thursday, June 29, 2006 at Hawkins County Memorial Gardens.
Christian-Sells Funeral Home, Rogersville was in charge of arrangements.
