Mrs. Louise Daniel Bennett was a retired educator with the South Tippah School district with 35 years of service. She was a member of the Ripley First United Methodist Church and a faithful member of Circle #3. She was also a member of the teacher organization, Kappa Kappa Iota, the Tippah County Retired Teachers Association, Tippah County Hospital Auxilary, two bridge clubs, the Memphis Theater Group and the Ruby Seal Society. She was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority at Ole Miss. She was a 1948 graduate of Ole Miss. She enjoyed attending Ole Miss football games and watching all sports on T.V. She took pride in keeping her yard beautiful and it was always a show place. She had a wonderful family and many friends. Her survivors include: One daughter: Betty Richardson (Greg) of Ripley, MS: Two sons: David Bennett (Arledia) of Oxford, MS: Dan Bennett (Christie) of Brandon, MS: Five grandchildren: John David Richardson of Florence, AL: Jennifer Richardson-Hodum (Scott) of Ripley, MS: John Dan Bennett and Meredith Bennett both of Brandon, MS: Bryan Bennett (Denise) of Birmingham, AL: Four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: Her husband: David Neal Bennett: Her parents: James Goodman and Clarice Bennett Daniel. Pallbearers will be: Fred Permenter, Dr. John Stanford, Kurt Roberts, Ron Jackson, Lee Allen Peagram, Bart Robinson, Phil Cooper, Eddie Conner. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Bobby Mays, Fred Fortier, John Reid, Lloyd McClusky, Bill Kuykendall, Charles Brown.
