|Death: ||Jun. 13, 1906|
We are pained to hear of the accidental death of little Ethel, the four-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Dunlap, which occurred last evening. Mr. Dunlap resides in the south part of this township and the little girl was over in Clay township visiting at the home of her grandmother, Mrs. Olive Sherman. With three other children, all larger than little Ethel, she was out by the Wilkinson school house playing, evidently with matches, when the little girl's clothing caught fire and before the flames could be extinguished her little body was so badly burned that she lived but a few hours. Funeral services were held this morning at 10 o'clock, the sermon being preached by H. S. Wold pastor of the Baptist church; Interment in Austin cemetery this afternoon at 2 o'clock. We join with the many friends of the bereaved in extending sympathy.
