Anders was born in Monessen, Pennsylvania 12/22/32 and passed away 7/3/03, at age 70, after a long bout with Leukemia. Beloved husband of Nancy Lee kronander, married for 50 years. Loving father to 2 daughters and their families, Kathleen and Michael, granddaughters Leigha and Mallory Lineberry, and Doreen and Al Takaoka and step-granddaughter Niko Shattuck. All the children fondly referred to Andy as "Pop".
His brother, Martin Kronander of Louisa, Virginia and his brother and sisters-in-law Carmen and Steven Norris of Prunedale and Art and Helen Jane Easley of South San Francisco and numerous nieces and nephews, survive him.
Andy was the youngest of 11 children, born of Swedish immigrants, Albert and Olga Kronander. Andy served in the Air Force from 1952-1956 during which time he met Nancy at a U.S.O. dance and soon after they were married. After his honorary discharge, they made their home in Boulder Creek for 43 years where he worked for Lockheed Santa Cruz Test Base for 32 years. In 1997 they moved to Aptos to be closer to family and their church, Twin Lakes.
Andy will be remembered for his love of God, family and friends. Andy was always generous, compassionate and warm hearted to everyone he met. One of his greatest joys was serving and helping others. He and Nancy were presenters and Board members of the Retrouvaille Program of San Francisco and just recently he was instrumental in starting the Christian Multi Denominational Retrouvaille of Monterey/Santa Cruz. Other ministries were "Reconciliation of God's Way" and "Couple's Cafe" at Twin Lakes Church.
His last words were "Remember relationships are what's important". He will be deeply missed.
