PFC US ARMY KOREA

Hillard Coan, 66, Leighton, died Sunday, April 26, 1998, of natural causes. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. today at Colbert Memorial Chaple. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Colbert Memorial Chapel with burial in Colbert Memorial Gardens. Officiating at the service will be Harold Catoe and Donald Denmark. He is survived by his wife, Edith Coan of Leighton; son, Michael Coan and wife, Cheryl, of Leighton; step-sons, Donald Gargis and Steve Gargis, both of Leighton; step-daughters, Martha Berryman of Leighton, Sandra Stanley of Tuscumbia, Marlene Guenther of Sheffield, Shelia Brown of Ford City; brother, Hollis Coan and wife, Margaret of Decatur; grandchildren, Lyndsey Coan and Megan Coan. He was survived by nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will include Blake McCormack, Larry Tippett, Shawn Gargis, Klegg Jeffries, Jay Brown, Brett Brown, Dwight Witt, Chris Boatwright. He attended Spring Valley Church of God and was a member of the Wagon Club.
