A native of Drew County, Mrs. Aikman was the former Vivian Sweeney, daughter of Grice Sweeney and the late Clyde Sweeney. She was born in Drew County and educated in Jefferson County.
Mr. and Mrs. Aikman were married in 1943 in Dumas where they lived until 1947 when they moved to Jefferson County.
Mrs Aikman was a Baptist.
In addition to her husband and mother, survivors include two brothers, T.J. and Basil Sweeney of Pine Bluff, and two sisters, Mrs. D. Phillips of McGehee and Mrs. Hershel Fallis of Louisiana.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 11 am tomorrow in the South Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Theo T. James, paster of the Imanuel Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Pleasant Springs Cemetery.
