Mrs. Ernest R. Billings
Mrs. Bertha Livengood Billings, 76, wife of Ernest R. Billings, Prescott, died at 3 a.m. today at Fort Scott Mercy Hospital where she had been a patient two weeks.
The daughter of Ananias and Sabina Enfield Livengood, she was born on May 20, 1896, at Wakefield, KS. Her marriage to Mr. Billings took place Sept. 15, 1905, at Junction City, Kas. Prescott has been their home since 1949. Mrs. Billings was a member of the prescott methodist Church.
Surviving are a son, Raymond T. of Prescott; two sisters, Mrs. Ann Gugler, Woodbine, Kas., and Mrs. La Vina McCoy, Kansas City, Kas: and a brother Freeman Livengood, Woodbine, Kas. There are two grandchildren and two great-grand children.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Prescott Methodist Church. Rev. John H. Anderson will officiate. Interment will be in Prescott Cemetery under the direction of Torneden's, Pleasanton.
