Akin b.19 Apr 1816 in the Burkesville area of Cumberland Co., KY & d.25 Feb 1894 in Burkesville, Cumberland Co., KY and to Elizabeth Rebecca Norris b.10 May 1816 in Kentucky & d.13 Oct 1893 in Burkesville, Cumberland Co., KY and who were married abt 1840 in Cumberland Co., KY.

Oceanna never married during her life.

She lived out her life in the household of her youngest sister, Lillian Bouldin (Akin) Ferquin & Family, in Burkesville.
