SENTENCED TO BE HUNG
Ah Bun, who was found guilty of murder in the first degree in the District Court on Thursday of last week, for killing Ah Mow at Jamestown, the 15th of April last, was brought up for sentence at 12 o'clock on Monday. When the prisoner was asked if he had anything to say why judgment should not be pronounced against him, his counsel C. Dorsey appeared and moved for a new trial which motion was overruled. Judge Booker, then pronounced sentence, which was, that on Friday the 25th day of April, 1873, between the hours of ten o'clock a.m. and four o'clock p.m., Ah Bun be hung by the neck until he be dead.
