Kerry Lee Schwoyer, 45, loving son of Dale Laura Hettinger Schwoyer, has joined his father's side in heaven, the late David Clarence Schwoyer who died on May 15, 2009.
He is survived by his brother Kendall Lee Schwoyer, husband of Christine; and his sister Laura Lee Schwoyer. He is also survived by his nieces Chelsea Anne and Kurstin Emilee; and foster siblings: Thomas Spraut, Evelyn Collins, Stephen Beck, Deborah Beck and their families.
He is also survived by his grandmother, Goldie Hettinger.
A memorial service for Kerry Lee was held at New Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, 27 Lyons Road, Fleetwood, Pennsylvania.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Lancaster County, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA, 17604-4125, the lovely facility where Kerry, his family and friends were guests in his last days.
Kerry was a friend to all and beloved by all. He touched so many people along the way and made each and every one of his friends feel like they were his best friend.
I know how much Kerry enjoyed browsing through findagrave - especially the "famous" memorials. So, to honor the first anniversary of his untimely death, here's to you, Kerry. And to everyone who loved him.
