Frances Alice (Harvey) Brink 84, was born in Cenralia, and passed away on August 17, 2010.
Frances graduated from Centralia High School in 1943. She worked for Pacific telephone and telegraph as an operator, the Yard Birds Shopping Center, War Mur Electric, Warner Logging as a bookkeeper. She was a secretary to the Grand Exalted Ruler of the national Elks, Frank O. Garland and part owner and bookkeeper for Brinks Car Sales, Inc. During WWII, supported and worked in the Chehalis Boeing plant known as "Rosie the Riveter".
Frances was a member of the Centralia Chapter #14 order of the Eastern Star, Centralia Eagles Ladies Auxiliary, and the Centralia/Chehalis Elks Emblem club. She loved to dance, bowl, golf, and travel to Hawaii, California, and Nevada. Also Being an excellent cook, she especially enjoyed Sunday and Holiday dinners with her family.
Frances was preceded in death by her daughter Gale F. Hunter, her parents John and Avis Harvey, and her brother Wayne Harvey. She is survived by her son, Floyd H. Brink, and Deborah Ludwig, fiancee (Chehalis) son-in-law Kevin Hunter, (Port Ludlow), grandchildren David Hunter, (North Bend), Chris Hunter, (Wenatchee), Josh Hunter, (Gig Harbor), Jaimee Bonagofski, (Lacey), and Kim Brink (San Diego, CA), sister-in-law Alice Harvey, (Madris, OR) and seven great grandchildren.
