At the home of Rev. E. W. Magnusson Wednesday, Feb. 28, at high noon, occurred the wedding of Miss Myrtle Spaid and Mr. John F. Davis. They were accompanied by Miss Mary E. Davis, sister of the groom, and Mr. Harley Spaid, brother of the bride. After the solemn ceremony thebridal couple departed on the fast train for Chicago to spend their honeymoon. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Spaid, of this city. She graduated from the Geneseo Township High School with the class of 1913, and for a number of years has been a very successful saleslady with rhw firm Cook & Wood. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Davis, of this city. He graduated with the class of 1908, also from Brown's Business College at Moline, Ill., and for two years has been a Henry county school teacher. On their retun a reception was given them at the home of the bride's parents. They were the recipients of many beautiful presents.
Mr. and Mrs. Davis will be at home after April 1 on his father's farm in Hanna township, which he has been operating for some time.
