Carl Paul GAMMA was born Sep 9, 1874 in Switzerland. He traveled to the United States in 1890. He took a job as a tight rope walker for Ringling Brothers circus until he met and married Alta Bowen on Sep 9, 1910. The couple were unable to have children of their own so they adopted a young girl named Anita. They lived on the farm in Gilman Twsp near Spring Valley Wisconsin until his death in 1958.
