Birth: May 6, 1898
Death: Oct. 19, 1898

From the Skidmore [Missouri] Standard, October 21, 1898, page 5:
"Everett Adrain Bagby, son of J. R. and N. E. Bagby was born May 6, 1898 and died Oct. 19, 1898, hence he was 5 months and 13 days old. He was one of four children, he and one other dying while young.

Although Everett has been here so short a time, still he had so intwined himself into the affections of his parents and sisters that they were truly bruised and broken in his death. May the blessed Savior heal their wounds by coming into their hearts and occupying little Everett's place therein.

The funeral services were conducted in the M. E. church, South, in Skidmore, Oct. 20 by the writer, assisted by Bro. Robison of the M. E. church, after which we laid him to rest in the Burr Oak cemetery, till that day shall dawn when all that sleep in their graves shall awake to sleep no more.

May the good Father sanctify this sorrow and bereavement to the present and eternal spiritual good of parents and sisters of Everett Adrain, is my prayer.

- J. W. Owen"
