Rosary for Leroy A, Alberthal, 69, of Kerrville, who died Wednesday at a local hospital, will be recited at 6 p.m. today in Kerrville Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Jose Balderas officiating.
Funeral mass will be celebrated at 3:30 p.m. Friday at Notre Dame Catholic Church wit Rev. Joseph Petsch officiating.
Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Born June 10, 1919, in Fredericksburg, he married Leona Josephine Schneider April 5, 1942, in Comfort. A long-time resident of the Hill Country, Mr. Alberthal had been a painter all his life and was a member of Notre Dame Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, of Kerrville; daughter, Lanette F. Arredondo; son Lynn R. Alberthal, both of Kerrville; two sisters, Alama Novian of Fredericksburg and Florine Black of Kerrville; three brothers, Erwin Alberthal and Roland Alberthal, both of Fredericksburg and William Alberthal of Kerrville; five grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Heart of the Hills Hospice or Notre Dame Church. Pallbearers are Danny E. Crenweige, Daniel Schneider, David Alberthal, Mark Alberthal, Keith Alberthal and Charlie DeLeon.
