HUGO, Okla.—Mrs. Agnes A. Alford, 79, a resident of the Golden Age Home in Hugo the past year, died at 1:35 p.m. Monday [June 3] in Memorial Hospital here.
Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the Springs Chapel Cemetery in Hugo, officiated by the Rev Roy Dittmar, chaplain of the Golden Age Home. Lampton-Mills Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Arkansas on March 19, 1895, Mrs. Alford came here from Yakima, Wash. She was a Baptist.
Survivors are one son E.W. (Wayne) Mackey of Hugo; two daughters, Mrs. Frances Bavusa of Spokane, Wash., and Mrs. Katherine Schott of Bellville, Tex., and 25 other descendants.
