CROSS PLAINS — Blanche Brooks, 89, of Rising Star, died Monday, Nov. 22, 1999, at an Abilene hospital.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Pioneer Cemetery with Bob Wallace officiating, directed by Higginbotham Funeral Home.
Mrs. Brooks was born in Pioneer and was a homemaker and a member of Pioneer Pentecostal Church. She married Howard Warren Brooks in 1932; he preceded her in death.
Survivors include one son, Kenneth Brooks of Pioneer; one daughter, Mona Marie Wilson of Hamlin; one sister, Kate McCarty of Cross Plains; one brother, Ray Curry of Abilene; six grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
