Rites for Jack Carey Akers, of ?812 NW 32, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Hahn-Cook funeral home, with burial in Resthaven cemetery.

Akers, 40, died Sunday from a heart condidiont in his home. He was born in Oklahoma City and had lived here his entire life.

An employee of Akers auto salvage 27 years, he was a 32nd degree Mason and a navy veteran of World war II.

Survivors are his wife, Refolla; a stepson, Gerald Segler, of the city; a stepdaughter, Annecia Segler, of the home; his mother, Mrs. ?. M. Akers, 2805 NW 22; four brothers, Robert M., of the city; Joe, of Clarkston, Wash.; Harry, ?28 SE 35, and C. H. Akers, 401 ?eed place; two sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Toti, Seguin, Texas, and Mrs. Lucille Yeager, 3833 NW 10.
