WICHITA -- Elva Mae Alfs , 89, died Feb. 24, 2001, at her home in Wichita.
She was born June 2, 1911, at Macksville, the daughter of Mark and Gertrude Jennings. A Wichita resident since the 1950s, formerly of Macksville, she was a professional seamstress and retired nurse.
In 1954 she married HenryAlfs at Wichita. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include several nephews and nieces.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Farmington Cemetery, Macksville, with David Upp presiding.
