Mrs Louise Brown, widow of Tom Brown, former well known resident of Hopwood, died Wednesday, November 22nd in the Methodist Protestant Home at West LaFayette, Ohio, according to word received here Thursday morning. She was past 74 years of age. Mrs Brown is survived by a daughter, Mrs Phoebe Glick, of this city. Another daughter, Mrs Florence Richardson preceded her in death. The body will be brought to Uniontown for funeral services with burial in the Hopwood cemetery.

Mrs Sara Louise Brown, aged 74, died Wednesday at 11:40 pm in the M. P. home for the aged, near West Lafayette, from a two months' illness of complications. The deceased was born Jan 5, 1859, in Uniontown, Pa. a daughter of the late John and Eliza Malone. She was united in marriage Sept 3, 1877 to John (Thomas) N Brown, who preceded her in death. She entered the M P home Nov 8, 1929. One daughter, Mrs Phebe Glick, Uniontown survives. Short funeral services were to be held at the home this afternoon at 2:30. The body will be taken to Uniontown Friday morning for services and burial.
