Allyn was the oldest son of Ernest and Lillie (Wagensen) Anderson. He had a sister, Alitka Euvalene (Anderson) Swanstrom and brother, Harold Dean "Happy" Anderson.

Allyn Anderson died at his home in Nelson last Wednesday at the age of 68 years, 9 months and 23 days. He was a former Superior resident.
The funeral was Monday at 10:30 a.m., from the Klawitter-Price Funeral Home Chapel, Nelson, with Pastor Gary Lee officiating. Burial was in Spring Creek Cemetery near Ruskin.
Allyn Fred Anderson, son of Ernest and Lillie Wagensen Anderson, was born on a homestead near Gillette, Wyo., Sept. 9, 1918.
The family moved from Wyoming to Nebraska and he attended and graduated from Nora High School with the class of 1937. He served in the United States Army in 1940-41.
Anderson was employed in Omaha as a custodian at the YMCA for many years. He then returned to Nuckolls County, making his home in Superior and Nelson, where he was residing at the time of his death.
He was a member of the Presbyterian Church for the past 20 years.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Alfred Swanstrom (Euvalene), Oak; a brother, Harold Dean Anderson, Torrington, Wyo.; three nieces, two nephews; and many other relatives.
