Thomas W. Black, 58 years old, died at 2 a.m. today at his home near the Lucky Jew mine, northwest of Picher.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Emma Black, a stepson, Marvin Ross; a step-daughter, Mrs. Etta Rose of Baxter Springs; a brother, Francis Black of Dallas, Tex.; four sisters, Mrs. Letta Perry and Mrs. Eula Arluck of San Francisco, Cal., Mrs. Grace Butch of Ritzville, Wash., and Mrs. Edith Ebersole of Baxter Springs, Kansas and his step-father, J. T. Hamm of Picher.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Treece Baptist church. The Reverend Mr. Fithian of Baxter Springs will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn cemetery with the Todd Funeral home of Picher in charge.
