Emil Hansen was born March 10, 1889, Son of Chris and Caroline Pederson Hansen. He was married twice, his first wife was Ila Elder and his second Elna Collins.
He is survived by his widow; two daughters, Ila Jean and Betty of Utah; a son, Terry, of California, a step-son, Elmer Collins of Tulsa, Okla. and 14 grandchildren.
He was a machinist for McDonald Aircraft Corp. and a veteran of World War I.
They are survived by four brothers, Walter of here, Nels of Indianapolis, Alfred of Gary, Ind., and John in Germany; two sisters, Mrs. Agnes Scott of Rantoul and Mrs. Mary Nichols of Danville. They were preceded in death by their parents and three brothers.
Funeral services for Emil Hansen were held Sunday at 2 p.m.m at the Knapp Funeral Home with graveside military rites at Union Cemetery.
