A funeral Mass for Twila M. Price Rouck, 94, of New Albany, was held Saturday, Sept. 15, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, New Albany, with burial in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, New Albany. She died, returning home to her Father and those dear to her who have gone before her, on Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012, at Providence Retirement Home in New Albany.
The daughter of the late George and Hazel Kirk Price, she was born Sept. 12, 1917, in Center Point, Iowa. She was a registered nurse and retired from Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany. She was a veteran of the U.S. Army Nurse Corps and was a member of the American Legion Bonnie Slone Post 28, St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Albany, St. Mary's Altar Society and Merry Makers Square Dance Club. She volunteered at Providence Retirement Home and Meals On Wheels.
Survivors include 1 son, 3 daughters, 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward H. Rouck Jr.; and sisters, Edrie Wassmer and Nedrie Pflughaupt.
