Mobile newspaper, date? - William Presley Andrews, native of Grove Hill AL, passed away at his home in Saraland Thursday, December 28, 2011 surrounded by his loving family. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army Reserve and retired from Mitternight Boiler Works after 27 years of service and a member of the Boiler Makers Local 112. Mr. Andrews was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, and brother who will be missed by all. He is preceded in death by his parents; Richard and Lillian Andrews, and brother; Tommy (T.J.) Andrews. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Shirley Payne Andrews, children; Sherlyn (Michael) Stacey of Mobile, and Steven P. (Tanya) Andrews of Axis, brothers; James L. Andrews, Charles N. Andrews and Roger C. Andrews, grandchildren; David W. Stout, Jr. Matthew J. Stacey, and Honorary God Grandchild, Benjamin Adams. Pallbearers will be Craig Payne, Raymond Adams, Neil Irby, Joshua Herrington, Shelton Andrews and Floyd Murphy. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 31, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
