Robert A. Acree is the son of Robert Franklin Acree (1873-1957) and Luther Cordelia Strain (Nabers) (1878-1971). He married Buena Salmon on 18 December 1937.

ROBERT ACREE
Robert Acree, age 57, of 211 Chandler Street, Calhoun, passed away suddenly Friday, April 2.
Mr. Acree was a member of the First Baptist Church of Calhoun, and a member of the Hill City Masonic Lodge No. 319 F&AM and had been employed by the Tumpane Company of Marietta for the past 25 years.
Mr. Acree is survived by three daughters, Mrs. L. G. Pierson of Savannah, Mrs. Don Gravitt of Smyrna and Mrs. Bobby Miller of Calhoun; one son, Robin Acree of Sebring, Fla.; five grandchildren; mother, Mrs. R. F. Acree of Calhoun; two brothers, M. L. Nabers of Macon and J. P Nabers of Dunwoody; three sisters, Mrs. W. R. Paxton of Canon City, Colo.; Mrs. Judson Terrell of Adairsville and Mrs. Jewell Barton of Hapeville.
Funeral services for Mr. Acree were held Sunday, April 4, at 2 p.m. from the First Baptist Church with the Rev. John Bledsoe officiating.
Pallbearers serving were Ernest Acree, W. G. Acree, Marvin Acree, Wilson Cowan, Hansel Sparks, J. T. Acree and Otis Parker.
Burial was in the family lot of Fain Cemetery with the Hill City Lodge No. 319 F&AM in charge of Masonic grave rites. COMBS FUNERAL HOME.
