Danny Alexander, of Travelers Rest, beloved husband and father, passed peacefully at home on Thursday, September 2, 2010.

Son of the late Michael and Peggy Alexander, he is survived by his wife, Debra Stewart Alexander of the home, and his daughter, Melody Alexander Reiss (Justin) of Columbus, OH. Also surviving are three sisters, Laurie Perry and Tammy Royal of NJ, and Kathy Hassen of FL; brother, John Alexander of Travelers Rest, his 4 beloved Chihuahuas - the Bruiser Family; and special friend Bessie Rochester and her children and grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Northwest Baptist Church, 20 Blue Ridge Drive, Travelers Rest, on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at 3:00 p.m.
Visitation with the family will be held at the home of his wife's parents, Kathy and Claude Burrell, 4001 Locust Hill Road, Taylors, on Monday September 6, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. and also at the church following the service on Tuesday.

Please no flowers. Memorials should be made to Northwest Baptist Church, 20 Blue Ridge Drive, Travelers Rest, SC 29690; or to the Greenville Humane Society, 328 Furman Hall Road, Greenville, SC 29609.
