Laura Viola Bergstrom, age 88, of Austin died November 16, 1996.
Mrs. Bergstrom was born in Fredericksburg, Texas on June 27, 1908 to August C. & Alma S. (Wahrmund) Meinscher.
She retired from service with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company on June 7, 1972. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Young Bergstrom,
Survivors include her son, Charles E. Bergstrom and wife Elfie (Richter) Bergstrom of Austin; Granddaughter, Anna R. Bergstrom of Bastrop; sister, Violette Murphy of San Antonio; and many close relatives.
She was a member of St. Martin's Lutheran Church were she taught Sunday School in the Nursery Department for many years.
Memorial services will be at St. Martin's Lutheran Church, 606 W. 15th St., Saturday, Nov. 23, 1996 at 2:00 p.mp. in the chapel.
