Ida Clara Augusta Schultz, youngest daughter of Fred and Nettie Dostal Schultz, was born in Malcom township February 21, 1870. She married Henry H. Ahrens of Sheridan township. In spite of all the medical attention and the loving care of her family and friends, the end came suddenly, but peacefully at 1:25 p.m. on July 26, 1934. Mrs. Ahrens was preceded in death by her mother, her father, and her sister, Mrs. Ella Bahrenfuse.
