DUMAS (Special) - Funeral services for William Franklin Aplin, 11-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Aplin of Dumas, will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Sixth and Meredith Church of Christ in Dumas with Cleo Cook and Duane Smith officiating.
The youth died Saturday at 10 a.m. He was born in Carnegie, Okla., but had spent most of his life in Dumas. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his parents, three brothers, Raymond, Waymond, and Gayland all of Dumas; and the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J.P. Aplin of Cuba, N.M., and Mrs. Etta Hunt of Tucumcari.
Burial will be in Dumas Cemetery under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.
