Robert Andrews Brown died Feb. 18, 2012 at his home in Paris, Texas after a long illness.
He was born Aug. 3, 1938 in Sweet Home, to Helen Inez Andrews and Louis F. Brown and graduated from Mabelvale High School class of 1956. He went directly into the Air Force, where he served his country until Oct. 1967.
He was an automobile dealer for many years, and an automotive consultant until his retirement due to illness in 2004. He continued breeding thoroughbred horses until his death. He was a loving father and husband, a true American patriot, friend to everyone in need, and an inspiration to automobile dealers all over the United States. He will be sorely missed.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen Finley Brown of Paris, Texas; three daughters, Kelly Michelle Brown of Paris, Texas, Kilee Savannah Brown of Lubbock, Texas, and Dotty Karyl Brown of McKinney, Texas and two grandsons, Kyle and Kasey Brown of McKinney, Texas.
He was preceded in death by both his parents.
Graveside services with Military Honors will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 24 at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, North Little Rock, with Rev. Larry Ballard, officiating.
